Go Professional with Wannadive
If you do a lot of diving and travel to different places, you have probably looked at instructors and thought “Wow! These guys are lucky. What a way to go to work”! We’ve all heard it said. But remember, instructors weren’t born – they were made. As a dive instructor, you will be a highly respected part of your dive club (if you belong to one) but an asset wherever you go. Some decided to reinvent themselves completely, quit their jobs and teach diving full time! YOU can be one of them and our IDC (Instructor Development Course) is the place to do it.
Following the PADI IDC is the Instructor Examination (IE). Pass this, and your dream has come true.
Once completed, you will be a valuable PADI professional, able to work all over the world, passing your knowledge and skills on to others who are also keen to share the wonderful underwater world that we enjoy every day! Oh, and you get paid for doing this too!
Be warned, the course is demanding.
Your knowledge and skills will be initially evaluated before you revisit a kind of “school” atmosphere (but one where you are encouraged to have fun), learning dive physics, the human body, dive equipment etc. And yes, there is homework! However, at Wannadive in Tenerife, you will find yourself in the company of friendly, experienced staff and an atmosphere that makes learning fun at arguably the finest centre anywhere in the Canaries – and we do not make claims like that without reason. Just read our Guestbook! The course makes an ideal holiday (well, maybe not for you but certainly for the family!), in a location renowned for excellent weather all year round. Certainly better than the Northen Europe!
There are some who have made the step from ‘Zero To Hero’ and are now scuba diving instructors.
These people had never dived before but loved it so much, they went all the way to teaching status! It can be done. We can also help with your accommodation too!
