  Flora & Fauna

In the extreme eastern part of the municipality lies the Anaga Natural Park. A space defined

by its geomorphologic values, both botanical and of the fauna. It features the most ancient

geological formations on the island as well as numerous endemic species.

High mountains surround the tiny village and there is a small peak near the village centre. Forests

including cypresses and palm trees around. The rocks and forests and a slope of about 70° to 75°

angle lies westward. Farming cultivation include potatoes and wheat and also fruit and vegetables

in small quantities. The village has a sufficient water supply and plants are green

     

 

 

 

 

 

  Pico El Teide 

   El Teide. The highest peak in all of Spain and Iconic Canaries Image, 3780 meters above sea

   level and  the  biggest Natural Park of Europe. It is the most overwelming moon landscape on

 Earth. It is a must !

     

 

 

                                                                              El Medano  

 Kite surfing, an attractive and spectacular sport, is gaining

popularity in Tenerife.  Nowadays, there are more and more companies in Tenerife offering

services such as, equipment hire and kite surfing courses to help people take up this new and

exciting sport in a short period of time. The exceptional weather conditions that can be found

                                 Vista Montaña Roja

La Tejita Beach is in the district of Granadilla de Abona, It is the longest beach on the island, a two-kilometre stretch of fine golden sand that ends at a volcanic cone called "Montaña Rojo" (Red Mountain). The surrounding area is a protected nature reserve due to its important ecological value.
