Thanks to you all for working so hard to make the dives such fun. Think I´ve come away with some great photos ( looking forward to spending hours playing with them in photoshop back in cold uk!) Biggest Rays I´ve ever seen ( and 3 on one dive!) and I´d say generally bigger + better stuff to see than I´ve seen in Red Sea. Will be back when I can.

This was our 4th or 5th time diving with the guys here at Wannadive. Again made to feel very welcome . Great facilities and excellent- safe diving.

I managed to christen the boat on 3rd dive as it was rough sea, Ugh ! Felt really embarrassed but no probs. Always a pleasure to return. J

Hi Ramona

I was so pleased to have gone to El Puertito twice during my week.  It was just

fantastic having turtles demanding attention in no uncertain terms.  It was such a

pleasure to oblige by rubbing the underside of their shell.  The attached picture delights me.

Thanks also to Pauly and Gray-hum (is he released from the psychiatric ward yet) for

looking after us, however unruly we were.

I look forward to my next visit to Tenerife in a year's time.

Great atmosphere made by Wannadive team. Highlite for me were display by pod of Dolphins, close encounter with an Angel Shark and stroking the Turtle at El Puertito.I was greatful to Paul and Grahame for their advice to increase my dive time and improve my buoyancy.

Hello Grahame,

I have been meaning to write this ever since I got back earlier this month - but business issues keep getting in the way!

I have to say that even now, after the glow has faded a little, the three days spent training with you were a personal highlight of recent years.  In spite of being terrified on one or two occasions, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and cannot wait to start practicing further – “slow, steady breathing and no hands”!  We are hoping we will be able to get away over Christmas and Brenda (my wife) has an instruction from Andrew (my son) and I that if she chooses the location, it has to include at least one day’s diving!  Fortunately, she likes the hot weather (20 years in Africa saw to that) so she is unlikely to choose the North Sea!  We do have a trip planned to South Africa for Easter next year – and possibly even a trip to Bazaruto in Mozambique –the diving there is renown!  But I am sure that sooner rather than later we will return to Tenerife – and will want to look up the Wannadive team.

Thank you again for being wonderfully patient and attentive teacher.  I am not sorry the confined dives were actually open water – at that stage, the moments in which I could concentrate on my surroundings (as opposed to the prospect of drowning) were fascinating and without doubt an incentive to do more.  Grahame, you have a great gift.  Please continue to inspire learner divers as you did me – they will never forget you for it!

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to say thanks so much for the fantastic diving last week - sorry I wasn't able to pop in later in the week or come on another dive.  And thanks Graham for taking care of my dad - he's been raving about it ever since we came back and can't wait to do it again - partly because he's worried he'll forget everything!!

Team Wannadive !

Our experience with you will last a long time. It was incredible! From the boat dive with the turtles last year to our PADI course this year. Every bit was brilliant and enjoyable. The team really helped us this year and was friendly and really helpful!

Hallo Marc en Ramona,

Alweer een mooie duiktijd gehad. Ging veel te snel voorbij. Veel dingen geleerd bij de Advanced Open Water en ook veel gezien, zoals de zeeschildpadden, inkvissen,moreenen en. de dolfijnen. Leuk dat jullie allemaal zoveel tijd in ons gestoken hebben en dat jullie ook nog even een ¨omweg¨maakten om naar de dolfijnen te kijken. Ian en Monika natuurlijk ook bedankt.Het was een geweldige tijd, waar we vaak (d.m.v. de foto-cd) naar terug kijken. Wij komen zeker weer terug.

You guys are NUTS ! ( in a good way of course) but remind me of my family! So….felt right at home! I came, I saw, I conquered! Had some great dives, used my brian, and come away with a lot more than I bargained for! And amazed Ramona didn´t had me puffing away by the end of it after all our interesting chats! Ian is probably the most sane of you all, but a great instructor. Grahame is like a doll ( but bordering) on the one from the ´saw´movies ha ha ha. Marc didn´t say much but I think I understand him! J Thanks again, had a blast.Might be back for my instructor course!

_Hallo

ich war im März 2008 für 10 Tage zum Tauchen auf Teneriffa. Im Internet habe ich mit die Tauchbasis Wannadive in Playa de las Amerikas ausgesucht. Sie ist direkt neben dem Composit Center. Die Tauchbasis hat zwei eigene Boote. So ist es möglich, dass die Fortgeschrittenen an einem anderen Tauchspot tauchen können, als die Anfänger. Das größere Boot ist echt gut. Die Leihausrüstung ist neuwertig, da das Center noch nicht so alt ist. Da ich leider sehr viel Luft benötige, brauche ich eine 15 Liter Flasche. 15 Liter Flaschen waren ausreichend vorhanden, so dass man sich nicht darum streiten muß, wie zumindest bei mir schon oft passiert. Die Tauchguides sind echt super net und kompetent. Hier macht das Tauchen Spaß. Die Tauchgänge sind von der Zeit her auch nicht limitiert. Der längste Tauchgang war bei mir 58 Minuten. Highlights waren aus meiner Sicht der Tauchgang mit den Schildkröten (die haben 20 Minuten mit uns bespielt) und die schwarzen Korallen (40 Meter).
Hat sehr viel spaß gemacht. Danke bis zum nächsten mal.

Hello

i just wanted to say thank you to the team for the experience i had

last week.

I had been given 3 different dive centres to look at before booking a

dive, and felt so welcome from the moment i walked in that i did not

bother looking at the other 2.

The dive sites were superb and the staff were brilliant.  I found them

to be highly entertaining but at the same time, re-assuring.  I am

always nervous when i dive with new people as i have had some bad

experiences, but this was not the case with Ian, and the other 2 whose

names escape me...(a mad englishman who piloted the boat and the female

who looked after us with Ian on the dives)....

I hope to come back later in the year and will be looking to come to

yourselves.

Wir (1 Erwachsener AOWD, 1 Jugendliche J-AOWD, 1 Kind J-AOWD) waren Anfang April 2009 für eine Woche auf Teneriffa und haben bei Wannadive Tenerife einige PADI Specialies absolviert.
Sowohl das Basisteam als auch die Tauchleher waren freundlich, sehr engagiert und wir hatten viele tolle und abwechslungsreiche Tauchgänge.
Alle sind ganz toll auf die Kinder eingegangen, sodass diese trotz kaltem Wasser (19 Grad Celsius) völlig begeistert vom Tauchen waren.
Insgesamt haben wir alle zusammen 39 Tauchgänge absolviert und jeden einzelnen genossen.

Die Tauchbasis ist gut ausgestattet, das Material war in gutem bis sehr gutem Zustand, Nitrox gab es ohne Aufpreis. Es standen genügend Flaschen in 10, 12 und 15 l Größen zur Verfügung. Alles auf der Basis war sehr ordentlich und strukturiert, zudem gab es Kaffee und WLAN :-).

Die teils mehrsprachigen Tauchlehrer haben die Kursinhalte sehr gut und mit viel Freude vermittelt, sodass der Nachwuchs mit Begeisterung dabei war.

Alles in allem ein ganz toller Tauchurlaub, die Basis ist uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Hi Everybody!

When I am writing this mail I realize everybody is NOW down under  (2:00 PM) I presume!

I am feeling sad because I am sitting here in a grey Holland at my desk.

Yes I am back to work.

I want to say THANKS to everyone of Wannadive for the perfect week I had.

We laughed a lot and the atmosphere was perfect.

Made beautiful dives and as hightlight the SUPER DIVE with Marc at Del Faro Deep.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH,

The local yell at Wannadive I presume!

Hope this mail finds you all well.

I enjoyed diving with you lot and hope to return sooner rather than later, perhaps later in the year to carry on this great adventure.

The pictures Ramona did for me were superb and I have turned them into a DVD with a soundtrack and film credits, it looks dead good, let us know if you want a copy and I will sent one to you.

You must pass on my thanks to Grahame for the brilliant pictures, brilliant dives and just being Grahame.

Also pass on extra special thanks to Mon Mon for having to cart me around on my last dive when we had the inflator hose problem and for a superb picture of me on the anchor line during ascent, I have blown this one up 30cm x 20 cm and it occupies pride of place on my coffee table at home, a constant reminder of the great time I had with you people

And an extra extra special thanks to Ian for that first cup of coffee in the morning we had, before all you part timers turned up !!

Tenerife was\is een super ervaring geweest voor mij. Uitgeput van de hele duikopleiding wat ongelooflijk is geweest.

Dikke pluim\hug voor Ramona,Marc, Grahame, Monika en Ian. Zonder hun had ik het echt niet voltooid. Het dringt

Nu pas een beetje tot me door dat ik kan en mag duiken. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug om jullie op te zoeken.

Even bijkletsen. Leker met jou Ramona ! Geweldige vrouw.

Helaas, Helaas, Helaas het is weer voorbij. Net als in Juli 2007 weer superleuk gedoken, andere dingen gezien waaronder diverse engelhaaien. TOP! Verzorging en ontvangst waren weer super en zodra we weer in Tenerife zijn…wacht de e-mail maar af, we komen weer!! TOT DAN! TOP TOP TOP

We kwamen eigenlijk alleen maar voor een duikbril voor te snorkelen eb zijn uiteindelijk na

4 dagen weggegaan met ons duikbrevet OWD.

Het waren leerzame dagen vil met theorie en praktijk. We hebben heel veel geleerd en er een

Prachtige herrinnering aan over gehouden. De lessen waren perfect! “Marc, je was rustgevend,

Gaf iedere keen weer dat beetje wat nodig was om door te zetten!” Bij jullie was het net een grote familie!

Marc, Ramona en de anderen zullen we niet vergeten. Jullie zijn hele gezellige mensen en we komen

Family Gbedemah came to dive in Tenerife. Dad(Tim) & Son ( Luke) are advanced divers + love to dive,

Mum ( Ley) is a very nervous anxious diver e Doughter ( Andie) doesn´t like diving and goes on  an occassional

Dive because the family want her to.It was unsure that there would be many more family dives.

Wannadive suggested that Mum e Daughter did the Peak Performance Bouyancy Specialty. We did it with

Grahame – 2 shore dives – it was great fun + we learnt SO much and gained so much confidence. On

Our last day we dived with the turtles – a wonderful family dive !-  We cannot thank Wannadive and especially

Grahame enough. We are know all Happy divers!

Wannadive is the best, friendliest, fun place we have ever dived. To sum it all up, the question, wanna dive?

Well, yes actually, we do!

jetzt bin ich schon beinahe 4 Wochen wieder in Deutschland, und die Urlaubsbräune

!!! war wirklich Klasse!.

Ich habe 9 TG gemacht, jedesmal an einem anderen

Platz und habe noch nicht alles gesehen.

Die Stimmung auf der Basis und im Boot war immer prima! Ordnung und Sicherheit

leider haben wir es nicht geschafft nochmal tauchen zu gehen, wir wollten uns aber trotzdem nochmal für Deine Tipps bedanken. Wir waren in der Casa Riquelme und haben  selbstgemachten Fruchtsaft getrunken und abends waren wir in der Bar Risco und haben ein super leckeres Hühnchen mit Kartoffeln gegessen!

Hi Ramona/Mark & all at Wannadive.

Got home this morning at 7am. Up since 6.30 yesterday, a little longer than last Wednesday and it was long.

It was great to see you all again and great to see you expanding the business.

Four dives in one day and what a day. I enjoyed it all and the night dive was a great finish to the day.

It was an excellent finish to the night dive to see the very big flat fish with a long tail or was it a ray?

A note to anyone thinking of trying diving or for those qualified divers looking for a quality dive centre, then you would

not go wrong joining Wannadive. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional in all matters diving and not forgetting

the FUN, after all that is what is all about. They will go out of their way for you to make your time with them one to remember.

Their equipment is excellent and with FREE nitrox available to those qualified to use it,it makes a day like the one I spent

with them all that more enjoyable and possible. Three dives on nitrox and the night dive for 80 minutes on air.

Once again another great time with Wannadive.

Just a quick line from both of us for a great 3 days of diving we had last week. It was a real highlight especially the turtles on Tuesday.

The worst news is that my (John) dive bag has not arrived back to the UK yet. No one seems to do where it is. It has my logbook, dive gear, compass and worst of all my camera in it. So unless it turns up I cannot send Lucas his pictures with his turtle girlfriend.  I can see a trip back to tenerife to buy new kit!

Once again many thanks. We will strongly recommend you to all our diving friends.

Hello diving team of wannadive.

Were back home again. Was a long day, but we would you let you know that we had a

very nice 10 day's of our vacation!

We miss all of your company and that from the other divers we met already!

Me.... Ingrid has learned a lot this week and did learned several new things.

We would thank you for this!! Give all lots of greetings en love from us.

And we be back again as soon as possible, maybe in September and we hope that whole

of the staff and same divers who where there.. will be there also.

We hebben genoten. Ik ..Ingrid met enige duikervaring heb ondanks dit heel veel

nieuwe dingen geleerd!!

Bootduiken en laten afzakken tot 25 meter en mijn diepste duik gemaakt van 30 meter!!

Stroomduiken en driften meegemaakt en al dat onderwater leven waar wij mee kennis

gemaakt hebben.

We hebben een hele leuke tijd gehad bij jullie en met de mede duikers die wij hebben

leren kennen!

Wellicht en daar gaan we voor komen we ergens in september weer naar jullie toe en

dat wij hopen dat het diving team daar ook nog is en misschien nog enkele mede

duikers die wij hebben leren kennen in deze tijd.

Hallo luitjes,

We zijn inmiddels al weer een week aan het werk. Maar onze gedachten dwalen vaker af

naar jullie in Tenerife, waar wij wederom een geweldige week hebben doorgebracht!..

Leuke nieuwe duikstekken, te gek weer... en natuurlijk veel lol (ook buiten het

duiken, zeker met de carnaval in Santa Cruz)!  18 Stingray's zien in een duik: dat

is om nooit te vergeten! Na 4 keer daar bij jullie geweest te zijn, zijn we nog niet

uitgekeken: we hebben daarom al weer geboekt voor een weekje in mei. We komen dan

weer met nog enkele enthousiaste duikers en we verheugen ons er nu al op!

Our two boys Alex and Jamie, both 11yrs old, were instructed in and passed thier

PADI Junior Open Water qualification with the team at Wannadive.  All of the

instructors helped them overcome thier fears and encouraged them to master all of

the difficulties that come with exposure to the unknown.  Patience is a virtue and

in this case it paid off.  Thanks guys and gals it was a pleasure.  See you next

time.

Er is een tijdje overheen gegaan maar hier dan toch weer een berichtje van mij omdat

ik Wannadive en z'n mensen heel erg mis. De tijd die ik beleefd heb ( 6 maanden

intern ) was voor mij de ultieme ervaring in mijn leven. Er is een hoop gebeurt in

de tijd dat ik ben weggeweest maar Wannadive is echt een stuk van mijn leven

geworden. Daarom ben ik ook superblij dat ik aankomend jaar "mijn 2e famile" weer

Na mijn duikbrevet bij Julie gehaald te hebben in Februari nu weer terug en veel bijgeleer elke duik (totaal 10) weer beter en bijna alles onder controle. Volgend jaar kom ik weer terug en gaan we weer verder leren. Ook thuis weer duiken in de oosterschelde en de grevelingen. Ik heb weer ontzettend veel plezier gehad, veel gezien onder water engelhaai, roggen, octopus en vele andere vissen. Ik was mischien niet de makkelijkste klant (te veel lucht) maar ik hoop volgend jaar meer conditie te hebben.

Ik bedank Lucas, Andy, Marc, Alex en zeker Ramona voor de goede zorgen.

Na de eerste proefduik op zondag , ben ik begonnen direct op maandag met de open water cursus. Na 3 leuke dagen van leren en duiken heb ik de cursus met succes afgesloten. Daarna nog een paar duiken gemaakt! Bedankt voor de goede, en leuke begeleiding Wannadive Team en zeker tot de volgende keer!!

Ongelooflijk mooie duikplaatsen. We hebben genoten van de eerste tot de laatse minuut. Zeer aangename staff. We hebben veel plezier gahad zowel boven als onder water met de duikleiders voor hem mischien duiklijders zalig, zeker een aanrader!

Wenn man sich an die fast- korallenfreie Umgebung gewöhnt hat, erliegt man der Faszination der bizarren Felsformationen, die man an Land durch ihre schlechte Zugänglichkeit wohl kaum so erleben & entdecken kann. Ondanks al het rare maar leuke gebeuren. Heb nog nooit zo veel gelachen :) ik heb een paar geweldige duiken gemaakt. Dingen die ik nog nooit heb ervaren (grotduik en met nitrox duiken) geweldig gaaf om eens gedaan te hebben.

Ik vind het een goede en gezellige duikschool. Als ik weer terug in Tenerife kom., dan zal ik zeker weer eens hier komen duiken.

Pauli, thanks for everything. I enjoyed the diving with you a lot!
